Choosing the right BLDC motor is not simply about voltage and power. For many OEM applications, the motor must also match the required speed, installation space, shaft design, wiring, environmental conditions and control requirements.
A standard motor may provide the right performance but still fail to fit the equipment. That is why BLDC motor customization often involves both electrical performance and mechanical integration.
From industrial machinery and pumps to garden equipment and electric mobility, the right motor should be selected around the actual application—not the other way around.

What Can Be Customized on a BLDC Motor?
Depending on the application, a BLDC motor can be customized in several key areas—from electrical performance to mechanical structure, wiring, protection and control.
01. Electrical Performance Customization
The electrical performance of a BLDC motor should be matched to the actual operating conditions of the equipment. Depending on the application, voltage, power, speed and torque can be adjusted or selected based on the required load and operating point.
Rather than selecting a motor based only on maximum power, we recommend considering speed, torque, load conditions and duty cycle together.

02. Custom Shaft Design
The output shaft is one of the most commonly customized mechanical components of a BLDC motor. Different equipment may require different shaft structures depending on the transmission method, installation space and mechanical connection.
Shaft diameter, length and structure can be customized based on the application, including stepped shafts, threaded shafts, keyways, D-cut shafts, hollow shafts, tapped holes and other special designs.
03. Custom Wiring & Connectors
Electrical integration is another important consideration when selecting or customizing a BLDC motor. Even when the motor performance is suitable, differences in wiring, connectors or signal definitions can make installation difficult.
Depending on the application, we can customize wire type and gauge, cable length, wire color, connector type, pin definition, Hall sensor wiring, PWM / FG signal wiring and other connection requirements.
04. Housing, Protection & Control Options
Housing & Mounting
Housing dimensions, mounting holes, flange structure and installation interfaces can be evaluated according to the equipment.
IP Rating & Waterproofing
Protection solutions can be evaluated based on moisture, dust, outdoor conditions or other environmental requirements.
Controller & Control Functions
External or integrated controllers can support speed control, PWM, Hall feedback, FG signal, forward/reverse and other functions.
